ABOUT US

LTTG Fund for the Needy Inc, is a 501 c (3) non profit organization with a mission to eradicate hunger. The vision is accomplished primarily by providing meals to individuals and families during the holiday season.  

Many families seek our support beyond the holiday season and it is our goal over the next few years to host various community outreach events that in addition to addressing hunger in our community we will also address homelessness and supplemental learning programs for youth.

In previous years LTTG partnered with a local vendor that assisted us in successfully providing a traditional meal for individuals and families who experienced hardships during the holiday season. LTTG is eternally grateful for the support received and continues seeking new partners to fulfill the mission, “to feed those in need”.

The visionary, Mr. Larry Hardnett , a local business owner, recognized a disparity during one of America's celebrated holiday's, Thanksgiving. Instilled with strong family and community values, Mr. Hardnett advocates the importance of receiving proper daily nourishment, he says,” I never had a day without food', it is my mission to make the same happen for others. Starting with the help of his mother in-law, in (2003) food basket were provided to local families. Volunteers doubled the following year, which allowed 200 individuals to receive meals. The year after, meals were provided to 400 individuals and each year thereafter the meals provided have increased.
